High above the Dickensian rooftops of Edinburgh's magical and atmospheric Old Town, dinner at the Tower is an experience to savour. As Fodor's Guide note "The Tower is quite an event, first timers might take time adjusting to the opulent aura".

Dinner at the Tower is served everyday until our last reservation at 11pm. You can choose from both our a la carte or our fantastic value 3 course set menu for £36.

Looking for a light meal to start your evening off in style then choose our delicous 2 course pre-theatre menu, served every day between 5 - 6.30pm for only £19.95.

From the moment you step out the lift to be met by our welcoming staff, you'll find the Tower an experience like no other: enjoy the view of Edinburgh Castle and historic Old Town, the terrace, the elegant setting and the most-flattering lighting in the city!

Above all, enjoy a menu showcasing some of Scotland's very best produce - enhanced by some rather accomplished cooking.  Choose from; Isle of Mull lobster thermidor, rib-eye steak from award-winning East Lothian butcher, John Gilmour with chips and bearnaise, haggis from Dingwall with pineapple salsa or how about whole seabass with samphire and charred cucumber.  We also serve some of the most delicious vegetarian dishes in town such as shallot and chive mousse or watrecress and beetroot risotto.

How about pre-dinner cocktails on our rooftop terrace which boasts the most spectacular views of Edinburgh Castle from anywhere in the city, choose from our award-winning wine list and sit back and enjoy a gastronomic feast to remember whilst our friendly front of house staff look after your every need.

The Tower has become a favourite for visiting celebrities such as; J K Rowling, Kate Winslet, HRH The Princess Royal, Ricky Gervais and the entire All Blacks team to name a few.  Reservations are recommended for dinner at Scotland's first and finest rooftop restaurant.
