BURNS SUPPER 2018
CELEBRATING SCOTTISH IDENTITY IN A BEAUTIFUL SETTING
This year the Tower Restaurant is hosting an exciting dinner with a menu created ad-hoc to traditionally celebrate the birth date of Robert Burns, national poet of Scotland.
On Thursday, 25th January 2018, along with our A La Carte menu, we will be serving a delicious menu comprising an amuse-bouche to tickle your taste buds, followed by a three course meal created with Scottish produce in mind and crafted with our chefs' expertise. Tea or coffee is also included in the menu and served with Scottish tablets and mini whisky chocolate for your guilty pleasure.
If that wasn't enough to convince you, you will receive a dram of Highland Park single malt to address the unmissable haggis main course, present in its vegetarian counterpart too. This menu is available for £48 per person and offers 3 options on each course to cater for every palate and dietary requirement.
Our bar team has worked equally hard to offer a competent accompaniment to the food. For £19.95 per person, you will be able to enjoy an aperitif whisky-based cocktail - try our popular Islay Mojito or a more classic Rusty Nail - swirl a glass of German Riesling or South African Pinot Noir to enhance the flavours of our starters, and finally, embrace a sweet cuddle with a Sauternes or a Vintage Port to complete your dessert enjoyment.
Stunning views of the castle are "on the house" for everybody, our rooftop is open for breath-taking photos over Old Town and the setting within the National Museum of Scotland guarantees a unique and exclusive atmosphere.
